Default srt-6 JOY

On 1-31-07 I traded in my Ford Lightning for a 2004 Xfire. The Xfire is a blast to drive, but it lacks the power of the Lightning. So last weekend I traded in my Xfire for SRT-6. I owed $10,000 on the xfire with 17,000 miles. They gave me $18,000 for it. I could not believe they gave me so much for it, plus they were selling the SRT-6 for $22,880 with 20,000 miles on it. The dealership said the car was there for over 30 days and wanted to make a good deal. I think it was a good deal.
I just wanted to tell you all. Peace.

Congrats and welcome. You'll love the SRT6.
If you don't mind - post your color, and the last 6 digits of your VIN in the thread 'SRT6 Serial Numbers.'
We're trying to get a large database of all of the SRT6s we can find to get an idea of rarity, production figures, etc.

Congrats grimm. The SRT6 is an awesome car. You will really enjoy it. There were only 2,016 ever made.

Daimler Chrysler said a while back that there were to be 2,016 SRT6 coupes and 928 SRT6 roadsters. Unsure if it is still exact, but seems to be close.

Yup. And Sapphire Silver Blue appears to be the least produced color for SRT6s.

Two days ago I brought a very clean 18K miles SRT-6 in Orange County. Had researched XF's since late Oct '06. I rarely see one in North County (San Diego), and the dealers there tend to jack up the price for higher mileage cars. The vehicle came with the illuminated door stills and a very nice wood covering of the center console, glove box, door's, and lighting controls...very nice looking. It as all the books, both key fobs...even if I had to ask for it, NAV, but not the luggage. Everything worked and the car shows the former owner really took care of it. Dealer originally wanted $29,000. Carfax showed the former owner took care of some issues noted in this form and our cousin form CrossfireCommunity.com. Paid $24,700 and they paid off my '04 Toyota Solara ($16,100).

I brought the vehicle because I loved the looks and while the Solara was a great car, it was not fun to drive. I also have a 03 C5 that I drive on the weekends, but the XF will be my work ride.

Serial #050403, Graphite Metallic, with black interior.
Other rides 65 Ford Fastback and Kawi Contour and Nomad motorcycles

Nice commuter ride Gripper22 !

With it's super low production numbers, great looks and terrific value the SRT6 Crossfires are a no-brain investment. These things have HAND BUILT engines. Check out the replacement costs for a shortblock from MOPAR.
N.A. 3.2 shortblocks are about $1,700, SRT6 shortblocks are almost $12,000.!

I can only imagine what a whole AMG sourced longblock w/full trim would go for. For around $ 25,000 you're getting an amazing hand-built engine and they throw in the car for free !

Cheers,

Slim
