Interesting but with a range of just over 100 miles and an 8 hr charge time its not practical for any kind of trip. A hybrid would probably make more sense. The way I read it this is not a hybrid but a total battery powered car.

that's 100% electric isn't it? says charge time, you don't charge hybrids. and 660 lb battery... dang.

its electric... the car was at sema in '05... i was able to see the complete car inside & out. the trunk had lithium batteries.

Interesting to watch but, boy oh boy is that reporter a dork...
Still a long way from a viable solution but I give them credit for try to make advancements.
