I have just bough a dashing 2006 coupe manual and it has a set of small buttons (3 of them) next to the roof light console - I have tried pushing them... but cant work out what they do... any ideas ?

 

Homelink, you can program it to open your garage or gate.

Also, while your driving if you press and hold down all 3 at the same time it will make your car faster. But you have to keep holding them down.

Damn - we knew it! Ten more HP - that's where they hid it! Does make shifting tough for those of you with the manual though.

 

Since you are in the UK I don't think you'll ever get them to do anything. It has been discussed here before that the UK uses a different frequency for garage door openers than the US uses, so the Homelink won't work for you. I guess there's always a chance that they have updated the system in the car for later model years, but I doubt it.

 

Must be because of the metric radio receivers used the UK.

I'm a UK owner and it works fine with my garage door!

I heard that pressing all three at the same time engages the flux capacitor ?
