Saturday morning a buddy and I had to go to Philly for the day. We left at 6 am and returned at 6 pm. Approximately 450 miles roundtrip from DC to Baltimore to Philly and back. He remarked on the return trip that we hadn't seen one other XF. I rarely see them in the DC area but even to me it was surprising not to see at least one.

One other observation - for me, at least, 3 hours non-stop is the limit in my XF. The most fun, beautiful, and attention-getting car I've ever owned but not one that I would want to take on an extended trip. For that, I'll take my Pacifica.

 

I just drove my XF from Ocala, Fl. to Schertz, Tx. 1,078 miles a 16 hour trip. I only stopped for gas and a break. The car was loaded in the trunk and passenger seat, got 29 miles to the gal. I saw one other XF along the way. A few days before I left Ocala, I saw 4 XF's the same day.

 

Sounds like a fun trip Fenwick. I used to have to do that run all the time.
We are planning something for Saturday night, I'll let you know mid week.
