CUSTOM A/C Trim Rings - anyone interested?
I've always thought that the air conditioning controls looked unfinished in the crossfire. I liked the round a/c rings that are available but wanted something a little different. So I decided to make my own. Luckily my father's business owns a CNC Milling Machine which is computer driven. After a day of designing and programming, I finally achieved the finished product. WOW! what a difference! I made them out of aluminum, then machine tumbled them to clean the metal and then polished them to a high gloss finish. I don't like using double faced tape to adhere them, so I made them with a tiny lip that fits perfectly into the round opening around the control. Therefore, it "snaps" in without using any tape. They are beautiful. I made one set for my own car and 2 extra sets. I am willing to sell them if anyone is interested. I also have some extra material that I can use to cut out more if needed. With the material and time, I've figured it out to be about $27 a pair including shipping. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I've included a picture of them and also a picture of them installed in my car.

Great job...what else can you make? I was looking into getting emblems that say "3.5L V6" to place on each fender of my XFire.

Nice job, I'll take a set. PM payment method I have a Paypal account.
If you decide to make a piece to go around shifter I'm in for one or whatever else you come up with to dress up the interior
Thanks.

The 2 extra sets have been spoken for, but I have enough material to make another batch of them. They will be done by tomorrow afternoon. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks.

I would like to remove the "wing" and adhere a round polished piece similar to yours.
Then I could mount the new SRT badge in the center of that or you could offer a version with "Crossfire" lettered in or something similar.
Just a thought. Again - very nice work.
