Default intensely personal car

The deeper into the Crossfire experience I go the more I find it to be a time and thought consuming entity. I have owned MG's, Jag's, Porsches, Alfa's and etc. The only other car which has preoccupied me as much is my Sunbeam. I keep thinking, what can I do, what does it need. Best wax products, best convertible top products, transparent bra for paint protection, carpet covers, waxing the wheels which I have never done before...Replacing cloth seats for leather and dash mods... This car is consuming me...It's beautiful...

I know what you mean, it's worse than having a hot girlfriend, because they are less expensive to play with.

No need to wax the wheels since they are powder coated, they are NOT porous like painted wheels, so nothing sticks to them.

I picked up a spray bottle of wheel cleaner and it works great. Spray on before you wash the car and you don't need to touch them, just spray with water.

I do find fault with the crossfire at times, but it really is a beautiful car.

That's pretty intense Gary. Wow! I think I will go and grab a cold brew, head out to the shop, pull up a chair, and just gaze at mine for a while. Time to become one with the XF... My wife is going to shoot me...

That's too funny, "one with the chair". A zen experience?
