Unhappy Can't drive the Crossfire!!!

Now I'm TICKED!!! Broke my right foot and my Doctor wouldn't customize my cast so that I could drive the Crossfire. Now when I try to push the gas pedal, I also push in the clutch... I cut away part of the cast but no luck... Any Ideas??
Just for your Info, I became 1 with the recliner practicing Zen 1 too many times. The wife broke my foot just to make sure I couldn't make it to the recliner... LOL.

That must be one heck of a cast to bridge all the way across form the gas pedal to the clutch pedal. You'd think the brake pedal would get in the way.

something tells me if he's hitting the clutch pedal while trying to hit the gas, an automatic wouldn't be any better... brake falls between the clutch and gas.

OXYCODONE... LOL! I know what I meant, It's just not what I said... Oh well. It's gas and brake pedal, or something like that.

It's why we have a left leg, no spare tire but we have a spare leg. Tie the right leg to the cupholder to prevent your leg from moving, thats what the cupholder was designed for.

I beg to differ... except my spare tire is of no use if I get a flat.

Disconnect the brakes, cut a hole in the floor and use your cast to stop the car.

Just his luck, he would hit the cupholder with his elbow, it would fly up causing the cast to strike him in the face, break his nose and dislocate his hip. Not a good idea!!!

Papa,

Sorry to hear you're out of commission. That really sucks you cant drive and of course it had to happen during the best driving weather. It is probably for the best you don't try to drive with the cast because more then likely it will scar up the interior of your car. Take care I hope it mends quickly. I see FP and XFireHammer have been supportive.

I carry a useless spare as well, could this all be a ploy from the wife. Has she been hinting that she can drive? Hide the keys.

I'm not sure if it's a ploy or not, but I am sure that she was rather upset the other day when I was out in the shop relaxing in the recliner having a few cool brews and gazing at the XF when I "fell asleep" for a few hours... I'm sure that had a lot to do with her breaking my foot. Now I can't make it to the shop to get to the beer cooler... So for now the XF is all hers. I think she is pretty happy about that. To be honest, I'm happy for her too. That way she may spend more time away from home and give me some peace and quiet...

I apologize...BigPappaPuff... Idaho was right, that was a little insensitive!

To make amends, here is something to think about as you are relaxing in your recliner with your foot propped up.

Don't you just hate it when your LEG falls asleep during the day... because you know it will be up all night!

Now doesn't that make you feel better!

Me and FP are here for you PaPa!

It could be worse, At least she "only" broke your foot. She could have cut it off. Then you would have to change your name to peggy. I hope all this love (Well ok, Tough love) helps you feel better.
