crossfire in snow?
I am a new owner of a crossfire and live in minnesota. Does anyone know if you can drive it in the winter? Do you need special tires (i have continentals)? Any help would be great!

snow tires on 18s all around 225 width... and some sand bags in the trunk with a shovel... it does fine on the all seasons in freshly plowed areas and very very light snow but its the acceleration that sucks in the those conditions, it stops just like any other car with all seasons on it.
take it slow and it will be ok ... get the snow tires if you plan to be out there during any real snowfall
the traction control is great in the snow but the ABS sucks as it does not let you pile the snow in front of the tire to stop...

these conti extreme contacts do very well in the snow ... i have no use for them anymore as i have a dedicated winter vehicle so i am forced to sell them... they are going away for $1,000 with less than 3,500 miles on them... check my gallery for specs if anyone has interest...
I've used sandbags in the back (3 - 60 pound bags) with the Crossfire ESP traction control On, with no problems in the past Michigan winters. The weight really helps keep the rear end firmly planted to the road.

It's much, much more about the tire than the car...in MN, you probably want to have true snow tires on there...no reason the car can't do fine with proper tires.
There are few tire manufacturers that make snow tires in the same dimensions as the original summer tires. Dunlop is one but they have been hard to get recently. The manual tells you to use the front wheel size all around and thats what I did. I used Bridgestone Blizzaks last winter and a 50 lb bag of sand in the trunk and it worked fine through a Toronto winter.
here i am performing in the snow on my continental summer tires...
while being lowered.

one must really ease into the gas... a gentle mix with summer tires... but not recommended.
the all-season tires i had in the past weren't much better.
