Also, there is one in aero blue. Interior is different, though.

As usual no roadsters. I would buy a roadster if someone offered one.

Thumbs up Re: crossfire model... with nice quality...

I have this exact same die-cast. Funny thing is, it's the first time that a model of a car of mine is EXACTLY like mine - right down to the exterior color, interior color etc. I bought two of them, one for my work desk and one for home - lol. Very nicely detailed.

Sams Club will be selling them for $10 at Christmas time... just a guess, but they always have Maisto cars and I'll bet they'll have the Crossfire. I'm thinking of buying two or three and trying to mod one into a Roadster.

It's also not Aero Blue, it's saphire blue. I have that one, and wasn't impressed at all. I ordered it through Chrysler though, I think.
I wish I could find one that was as detailed as my Bugatti.

I have a few Maisto cars - they have really good quality and are pretty accurate.

Thanks Andrew, just did the "Buy It Now". Yeah, shipping is ridiculous, but it is the exact replica of MY XFire and I could not resist!

Thanks again and I am looking forward to meeting you at Carlisle.

I looked around a bit and was able to find white, red, blue (I apologize for not knowing which blue it is called, but it is the lighter one), silver and black 1/18 scale models of coupes. There were three companies that made the various ones: RBI (Red Box International), Maisto, and Motormax.

Anyone have any strong opinions about those three companies? I know nothing, but it sure would be fun to have a model of my car on my desk.

Also, I did see a model of a roadster, but it was a 1/64 scale. Essentially, a Hot Wheels car, but not Hot Wheels. And it had the top up. I'm not sure if it was removable or not.

I went to www.maisto.com and followed their link to all the online stores that stocked their products. Most of them carried other brands and models as well, of course.

If anyone runs across a true AERO BLUE model, please let me know.

I have this one. It's made by MotorMax. It does not have the quality of the Maisto one. I'm considering re-painting the one I have to resemble mine.

I completely agree!! As usual, the Roadster owners get no love.
