A quick read of a few post will give you all the info you need. If we tried to tell you all we know it would take 12 pages. All the good and bad is listed here in the forum.

yes, i spend the last 4 hours at work (hahaha). reading the posting on all of the subject areas. looking for what is good and what is not about the Crossfire. so far it look like a winner but it never hurts to ask everyone opinion about it. oh, one more thing it will be the primary car until i can get a small eco. for the daily drive to work.

They are great cars and have very little problems really. But if you do have a problem it can be very frustrating getting it fixed. Many here use these as daily drivers with no trouble. I only use mine on weekends as I drive 1,000 miles a week for work and don't want to ruin it.

I would not hesitate to buy one, especially at today's prices.

Thank you for your service to our country.

At today's prices I would opt for the SRT6, biggest bang for the $$$.

You can do both. I would highly recommend the SRT6. But, then again I have two of them. Currently mine is at dealer for recall of fan and a couple of TSB's (Technical Service Bulletins) which are not recalls, but they fix or replace the problem part and I have a rental basic roadster coupe. The power just isn't there. The SRT screams "put the pedal to the metal".

Good luck on your choice.

If you can get the SRT-6 for decent money then get it. I have an '04 Coupe with...well see the signature. The SRT-6 is the a$$ kicker. I'm in the market for one now. I don't really care about color, just want the supercharger. The non-SRT engine puts out 215 HP (decent +), the SRT-6 puts out 330 HP (oh my God). I had the opportunity to drive an SRT-6 and the difference is amazing. I just didn't have the wherewithal (money) to make the swap...Counting pennies now for the eventual swap...

They're both great. I went with the Limited because...

1. I don't like autotragic transmissions (less fun and fixing them = huge $$$).

2. I much prefer the speed activated spoiler to the SRT6's gigantic, loud wing.

3. I like the design of the rims better on the Limited.

...add to that the couple extra thou you'll drop on the SRT6, the somewhat poorer gas mileage and the increased insurance premiums. 330 hp is sweet, but there were too many compromises for me.

You got it, friend. Never overestimate the geniuses at DaimlerChrysler. It's auto only.
