Excellent pictures... nice to see how it was done.

Now if they would only share things like how to hack the PCM and specific part specifications like the Injectors that HDDP was chasing... THAT would be worth something!!!

 

That was an awesome slideshow of pics. Great find and thanks! I never realized those car factories were so clean and new looking. I always had an impression of lots of dirt and dim lights, I was pleasantly surprised to find otherwise. Some of those pics the machines and instruments look almost sterile!

Thanx for the pix, they were great seeing our Xfires in work. Do you have a way of copying that DVD? Maybe we could do a forum buy-in or something to get multiple copies of that DVD...Anyone on board?

 

It was great for them to share these pictures with us, and I know we all appreciate it.
But I think to ask for times and such would be "pushing the envelope".

 

When I asked for some pictures from KARMANN, I told them they would be used on our forum and for OUR enjoyment. I don't think they want CDs floating all over.
The pics are posted for OUR enjoyment.
The original will be kept in XFi Files.

I think ALL of them are Super Hi-Resolution. When I uploaded them I think I saw Mega MB Res on each pic.
Try it and see and I will also and update.

 

Nope it's not Hi-Res. They won't go to wallpaper size. Anyway the Lead pic wouldn't.

ANYWAY...you must search through the pics because some are HI-RES and some ARE NOT.
One of the construction shots is on my screen now...FULL SIZE and in great focus.

Here is why I say check...
001 is 283KB at 1357x993...BUT...017 is 2.99MB at 2464x1648...

See I told you...

 

HA! alright... but can I get all of them in HI-RES? Or just the ones that are already HI-RES?

WOW...I've been in a LOT of automotive assembly plants...and that place is SPOTLESS. I'm very impressed. I feel better knowing that my baby has been pampered throughout her whole life.

As a sidenote...I do kind of wish they had newer Matuscheck weld timers to reduce the expulsion, (pic 14) although I can't really tell if that is the weld done on the AHSS material or not. If it's boron then nothing will help that.
