Default Getting a Crossfire

Hey, I just put a deposit down on a 2005 Crossfire Coupe. This is my second car (my first was a '98 Taurus that broke down all the time), so I'm extremely excited about this car. Its got a ton of features (not sure all the features that the Crossfire has so I don't know if mine has them all) but its really awesome. The dealer said it was a company car for a Chrysler Exec who didn't drive it that often, hence why it has 8,000 miles on it. I got to drive it around today and was pretty much blown away about how awesome this car is. Well I pretty much just wanted to get on here because I'm excited about my new car. I do have one question though. Does anyone know what is a good cover for a Crossfire? Unfortunately, because my mom and my step-dad want to park in the garage, I'm left on the street and I absolutely refuse to leave it uncovered.

Oh and pictures:

Congratulations. I also just got a black Crossfire Coupe and traded in a '98 Taurus. I thought I'd share. Mine has been blowing me away as well.

Congrats on your new XFire. ENJOY!.

I too highly recommend the Chrysler cover at: http://www.wyckoffchryslerparts.com/chcrveco.html

I went to my local Chrysler dealer Parts Dept., and told him the price I received on the internet and he matched it. Nice that I did not have to pay shipping then!

Here's a nice used one on e-bay you might get at a decent price.

Congrats on your new ride.

I am in the same situation and mine is the exact same color. That is weird. I'm 17 (18 in a month) and have a deposit down on mine also. My first car was my dad's old '95 cavalier, nicknamed the sh*tbox by my family. I've been saving since I was 10 to get a car, and now I'll finally get it friday! Mine has 45k miles but my parents are letting me keep it in the garage. Got it for $15,000.

Congrats on the new ride...I'm sure you'll love it.

I keep mine covered with a garage! Lets me see it all the time and throw some polish on it whenever it needs it. (often) I know this doesn't help you much though!

Well, you can buy them for about the same price a s a used Honda Civic or New Kia Spectra...

Which would you choose. That's a no brainer.

Congrats on the car, be safe and respect it.

I can't even imagine what you're paying for insurance at your age... I was a bit surprised when mine went up to almost $200 a month for me and my one car - and I'm 21.

Congrats on the car! It's a lot of fun!

I got my Crossfire two days ago. I'm extremely happy with it. It handles really well and is the best car I've ever driven. I got a cover for it the same day I took it home. Its an all weather cover with a 10 year warranty, so I'm happy with it. And actually, the insurance on it is much cheaper than most of the other cars I was looking at before.

I'm 18, and my insurance on the car is pretty low, $1,800 a year with Farmers. A bit higher than what I pay on my Matrix, but understandable given the fact that its a V6 and I'm more likely to kill myself and others in it. Haha.

I'm almost 21 in two months, and my insurance is about $85 a month through State Farm. Be sure to ask about the discounts for safe drivers and if your in college, you might qualify for a discount also.
