I have traffic school on Saturday. haha. Damn speeding tickets.

I live close to the beach, so I will probably head over there to show off my new toy and tan.

Enjoy the Calif Beach (Like I did in Laguna in the '60s), your "New" XF & Don't Speed! (Like I did in the '60s on US101, with my 1966 Yellow Dodge Charger, 383 4B).

I'll probably Run the "Dragon" & Cherohala if the weather cooperates.

Going to the Vintage Fall Festival at Lime Rock Park as I do every year on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. Great drive to the park, even better car show once you get there. Unfortunately I won't be driving the XF as there are 3 of us that go each year. Took the XF last year with my wife for the Hemmings show on Memorial Day weekend. That drive is exactly what the XF is made for. Gorgeous drive on a curvy 2 lane road running along the hills on one side and a stream on the other. Fully tree covered shade with fisherman working the stream and kayakers galore. Campers with breakfasts going early in the morning and the smell of bacon filling the air. A stop for a bite on the way home and then a nice BBQ with friends when we get home. The kind of day that makes life worth living! Hope you all have a ball.

Michelle gets to use the company Porsche for the next two weeks, so we are going to let her father drive it this weekend while we cruise in the X-fire. We plan on doing some day runs out and about and a trip up to New Hampshire for an Ice Cream. I will post pics of the two cars once we get it. I cant wait to compare the two. Michelle says the X-fire is a much better car.

Like Bobs (meat and fire) will be either doing a pork shoulder or 3 racks of ribs, haven't quite decided yet, hit the pool a few time before it closes, probably wash and polish the X-Fire and hopefully hook-up with Dave and Pat, maybe Bruce at the Burtonsville Cruise In Sunday morning. I wish you all a happy and safe weekend.

Pat

Going to the IRL race on Belle Isle on Sunday!

Other than that...I think I'll act as a filter for beer!

Back in the days when I lived up the road from you (Rochester Hills) I would go watch the Formula 1 cars race through downtown Detroit!!

This weekend though; Cars & Coffee regular Saturday show at Ford's PAG offices (local car guys bring anything and everything under the sun!!), Sunday our usual BBQ at our place for family and neighbors, Monday...kick back, maybe go for a mountain road drive in the Crossfire.
