Clear Protective Film Question
There were six Crossfires at the Anaheim gathering today and out of those six only one, mine, had clear film installed. This looks like something my dealer had done (or maybe the car was really a used one and the previous owner had installed the film) but just to confirm, did anyone else's Crossfire come with clear film on it?
The film on my car is installed on the upper portion of the front fenders right behind the headlights, along the rear edges of the doors, on the right rear fender under the gas cap door, and on the front of the mirrors. Since I've never had an opportunity to examine another Crossfire up close I had always assumed that they all came with the film installed. Frankly, I think the film distracts from the car's appearance and I may pull it all off.

The dealer had to have installed the film since the car was sold as new, unless Chrysler pulled a fast one on me and there really was a previous owner. Just having a little fun speculating here because I would think that if there really was another owner than a complete clear bra would have been installed. However, I can see the dealership saving money by only installing the small, inexpensive pieces.
I purchased mine new from a Chrysler dealer and soon after discovered that it had a clear film on the driver's side mirror and nowhere else.
I suppose it must a been a trial fitment by some vendor to pitch their product to the dealer.
