Default garage car cover suggestion?

I am considering a car cover for my new '04 Crossfire to protect it from scrapes and bumps in the garage (shared with my daily driver). I see several cheap covers on eBay for $20 - $25 and other fitted covers for $125 - $175.

I would love to hear any recommendations from other Crossfire owners for a garage cover. It doesn't need to be waterproof, I just want to protect the finish and doors from my own foolishness.

Thanks for any ideas...

I bought a Neon cover, it does the job. I only put it on after cleaning the car. I got it from Advanced Auto parts.

I use the California Car Cover (Model = Dustop) on all my cars. It's a little high, but I like all the extra protection ...

I bought my car cover from Shucks Auto for $69; it is made by Budge and called the Shield in a size 2. It works just fine for storing the car in the garage.

The car is getting ready to go into hibernation for the winter soon as I get some time to warm it up so I can change the oil then I will connect the battery charger, put it on jacks, and give it a good waxing.

In my opinion a "fitted cover" is better, you can get them as a dust cover or with a little padding for extra protection. I have the Chrysler Crossfire OEM fitted cover for daily covering and a "semi fitted" CoverCraft Evolution cover for extended covering.

My Vote is for the same, I use the California Car Cover, Model - Dustop for both Xfires and the '63 T-Bird. They are not the cheapest one's out there, but the fit and softness of these covers has never left a scratch or mark on any of my vehicles.

I got a WOLF fitted car cover off Ebay. It took about 10 week to arrive and I was sure the ******* had taken my money - but eventually it quietly arrived and it fit the car like a glove. I'm very happy with it - I think I paid about $120.

Wolf and CoverCraft Evolution "semi fitted" and "fitted" covers are usually made by order, the Ebay seller more than likely did not mention that in their description. My CoverCraft Evolution Semi Fitted cover took about 4 weeks from order to delivery.

Yes, it seemed like I had to wait for the thing to be made and then sit on a boat all the way from China. The ad indicated one week delivery so the guy obviously wasn't a master of managing expectations. Still, it's a great cover and cost about a third of the Mopar one.

I purchased this one from Andrew.

It didn't really seem to fit right for some reason until I lowered my ride??

This is true, I was lucky and got the Chrysler OEM cover on Ebay...brand new with tags for $100.
