Default Custom Car COver

I was wondering if anybody has purchased an outdoor car cover. Which brand is best for all environments and best place to purchase. I know Chrysler makes one through Mopar but I am not sure of quality.

Default Mopar Cover

Hi. My CF cover by Mopar is far better than ANY cover I have purchased before. There is a heat shield for the exhaust, and a clear area for plate viewing. The cover fits perfectly! It is ebroidered with the CF logo....can say enough.

I received some package from my dealer with the Chrysler Managzine in it (w/ Celine on the cover) and in the back it has a $25 rebate for any Mopar parts on purchases over $200--off to the dealer I go!)

From the Mopar site:

82207934 Gray, Premium Weathershield fabric, license plate window, storage bag and Crossfire logo $295.00

If you go to the site they have a picture of it on the Xfire.

This thread was last added to 15 years ago, eBay is a good bet for the Mopar cover, they are not cheap and may be hard to find. Sometimes people on this forum sell them. I would not recommend it for outside of a garage.

I've been looking at a few on Amazon, 7 layer padded. It will be inside a garage. I just want a good fit and want to make sure a 200 inch one is the perfect size, since the car measures 185 inches. I don't want it to short, or to long.

Paul66 - I'm selling a custom cover by CoverKing, made just for the Crossfire. It was used for 3 months and is in excellent shape. I just posted a reply to another fellow in a thread right next to yours. See it for details, or contact me for particular's at jpmlholian@aol.com . It's tan in color if that makes any difference to you.

I got a high-end cover from Coverking. The fit was not custom but it was a good fit. Who needs a perfect fit? It was about $150.

I have the Mopar cover for use in my garage, I have not studied ones for outside use. The wind may cause abrasion between the material and paint and that would be a concern to me.
