Default Stuck in Park with dead battery

Hey guys, long time reader first time poster. The battery in my crossfire is dead, I think I left the overhead lights on in the interior the other night. Work is waiting on me and Im' not sure what to do now. I am trying to get the car out of Park so I can have someone push it out of the garage but it isn't coming out of Park. I did a quick look in the manual and a search on here but couldn't find anything, does anyone know what I can do to get it out of Park? Thanks!

If you remove the trim and cover off of the console where your shifter is (it just snaps off, be careful not to break) there is a button inside you can push and you should be able to put it in neutral.

there is actually a retractable plastic slot in the lower part of the linkage gate (automatic only)... this allows one to use the supplied metal rod/tool to disengage the tranny... when inserting it into the slot.

I have just removed mine and I see no button. What color is the button? Left of shifter or right? Is it plastic? Metal? Please, more info?!

You are in an 8 year old thread, the cover is just behind the D (Drive) on the transmission trim. To the left of the lever.

You can also just use a standard screwdriver. It is in your owner manual.
