Default Special Edition SRT?

Probably saw this before, but here goes:

2007 Geneva Auto Show. Scroll down to almost the bottom for a different take on the SRT6 by Karmann.

I like the idea that they are still 'promoting' it...but my 2yr old niece could've done much better with the colors!

Is it wingless, or is it a limited coupe with SE wheels and SRT front bumper?

Yes it did! It has to be the color scheme. Brown does not work with this car. I had seen the interior before. The baby blue with brown crocodile pattern leather is hideous. What a way to go out...what were they thinking.

That brown Crossfire was not a SRT-6, it had a 160 MPH speedometer in it.

The only good idea I get from this one off car is that the wheels painted the color of the car on the backside works for me.

Well, not to play devil's advocate, but the exterior color really works for me. I think it looks very classy and sophisticated. I would say it suits the character of the car very well. I don't think I would call it dark brown though, more of a smokey bronze.

As far as the interior, I like the chocolate brown accents, but the Robin's Egg Blue is NOT GOOD! Now if you replaced the Blue with Cream/Cool Vanilla, or a lighter beige, it would sweet.

Agreed. Though the interior isn't bad, the whole color scheme does not work for me. Brown is just wrong for an XF.

Minus the blue bits of the inside, it is very beautiful. I think Chrysler should have offered this color instead of the Oyster Gold on the '06-'07 Limiteds.

Using three different colors on each of the side strakes is a bit weird, though...

Overall, I find it to be a bit hideous.

The color on the outside is nice, and I like the monotone and color matched wheels. The side strakes are over the top - and are the ribs in the hood painted blue also?

The interior is awful. The only thing I like about the interior is the lack of that bright silver. I like the gun-metal color they used where everything used to be bright silver.

With funds like these people have, I could've done MUCH better with the Crossfire.

Still, like I said, it's nice to see someone is still showing interest in it.

I didn't notice teh Tri-Colored side strakes and hood ribs untill you pointed them out. I agree the three difference colors is a bit much. I guess they were trying to tie all the different colors together. I also noticed that wheels aren't matched to the body. They are the same color as the "gold" color on the hood and side strakes. I'm not apposed to the hood rims having a contracting inlay, as I have my own done in Silver to match the side strakes and windshield trim.

This car would do it for me if the blue parts of the interior were done in beige or cream, the sides strakes were left alone, the hood rims were only one color(silver), and the wheels were the same color as the body. If you had the $$$ I'm sure they would be happy to do one any way you want...

I wasn't speaking of the colors, I speak soley of the sillouette of the Xfire. Simply one of the most beautiful car shapes ever designed IMO.

No hate, but what has "brown" done for you lately?
Sorry, I just had to say that.
Actually about 35 years ago I ordered a brand new car in dark brown metallic, with gold stripes, that had a tan and vanilla interior like you suggested and it looked great.
I'm just not a fan of baby blue and brown, that's all.
