Default Luggage

I posted this here because I have a coupe, now that the Crossfire luggage sets are climbing in price, and I am cheap, I started to search in Germany for W170 sets for Mercedes

The manufacturer that has fitted sets for Mercedes AND Crossfire is Roadsterbag.de no Crossfire Logo but nicely fitted. The Roadster bag set is contured to the boot (trunk)

I then find they are in the US in Loxahatchee FL

an SLK 3 piece set is $227.03

How do you get to the Web page?
I entered www.roadsterbag.de and got a prompt requiring a user ID and password. But you would have to get to the Web site to even register, wouldn't you?

If you can't read german put the weblink into a translation site like Babelfish.

Thanks for posting the link, by the way.

What I should have done with my first post was direct anyone interested to Roadsterbag USA, they show luggage for the W170 vehicles and the page is in English

All, for the record the Crossfire is based on the R170 platform. There is no such thing as a W170.

R = roadster
W = wagen (coupe / sedan)

If you check out this site it shows the luggage loaded in the crossfire roadster with the top down.

Have you (or anyone else) actually bought this for your Crossfire? Would you recommend whole-heartedly?

One can also search "raodsterbag" on ebay to see the set in English. I think we need a guinea pig to order one and see if it in fact fits a Crossfire roadster...

The roadster-concept.de web site does eventually, for me anyway, pop up and the luggage looks like a fit.
However, I actually prefer the soft leather gear in the pictures below, seem a bit smaller in depth and width than the original Crossfire duffels.
I think I'll simply go with taking the original measurements and finding an off-brand leather bag or two sized right.
Maybe I'll find something at Family Dollar to match my very nice floor mats at $8/set, now fitting fine in the Xfire.

I have seen the luggage it is cheap... Buy some wegner or a good brand and be done with it. We bought the Wegner, (swiss knife) company and it fits great try Siera trading post for disciunt stuff. The original luggage looks like a Kamart product.

Actually the manufacturer that produces the Xfire luggage also make the Swiss Army Luggage. They told me it was the same product with different badging and wheels. Otherwise identical.

FYI: I contacted the Roadsterbag USA folks through eBay, and they said they were out of stock on the Crossfire-fit set, but they would let me know when again available.
