crossfireless
OK guys i haven't returned to this forum in many months due to the fact that I lost my ride.
I live in southwest Indiana "Evansville" and had a run in with a serious downpour that the midwest is famous for. I waited till the wall of water subsided and decided to make my way home. Little did I know there were dropoffs in the lot that i was parked .Subsequently I ran into a drain pocket that dropped several feet and flooded out the engine.
I AAA'd the car to the dealership and called my local adjustor.Several days later I received the call that I didn't want to hear.
The car was toast and the dealer wanted 27k to replace the motor "27k". I couldn't believe it,I was devastated!@##$$%%^&*()
Fortunately the car was 7-70 and the insurance gave me a total loss on a car with only 17k on the odometer.
So needless to say I'm back in the market for another Crossfire again and would like some advice from you guys, I've been looking around at some dealerships and see some wierd exterior flaws on some of the cars especially of all things fog lamp caps. The dealer across from me has 3 cars all with the centers of the lights sitting in the bottom of the housing. These cars were all low miles and looked decent maybe off leaseI haven't talked to the dealership i do all of my shopping on close days.
Thank you,
Wheeldealer

Take the cash and see if you can find a pampered SRT6. The fog light caps are an issue but can be replaced with new upgraded ones under warranty.
Well I hit the lots sunday and found 2 05 rag tops in the 21k range and the new coups around this area, "southwest indiana" are going for 31k WOW!!
Not much 2 choose from yet but i will wait patiently and see

SilverFox is selling a silver SRT6, and I'm betting he pampered it. Check out his thread:

Sorry to hear about that...........I did the exact same thing to a 2006 roadster with 800 miles here in Houston......couldn't believe Chrysler would not fix it without a new engine. Anyway it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I picked up an 05 SRT-6..........definately the thing to do if you can find one
