If you "read" the downloadable test, it shows a tuned x-fire vs a tuned 350z. They had pretty equal out put, but the 350z out performed the x-fire around the track by 4 sec,

not sure how much time you have to translate, but it would be cool to read the whole article. how about a page a week?

I breifly glanced over the article. The car magazine that tested this modified Xfire bascially expresses its disappointment in the fact that the Xfire with an increase in displacement to 3.5 liters and power increase to 300hp only shaves off half a second in it's 0-100kmh time. For us that's 0-99mph. It's also an extremely expensive conversion.

You can pretty much get the basics from that. If the forum is interested I'll look into bringing their stuff to the states.

I'll post back soon with a product list and prices.

Thanks,

286hp from a Vath tuned 3.5L vs stock 215hp 3.2L?

I don't get it that's F**King amaizing hp gain. something must be lost in translation.

THE ML3.2 is really a bored out 3.2L, that has a 3.7L displacment and that motor make 35-40hp over the stock 3.2L, I'm confused?

The 3.7L only makes 232HP in the ML350. The 3.5L conversion they have includes tuning, cams, air filters, head work, increased compression, and a bump in redline and displacement. These engines respond well to the right mods. I emailed them and should hear back within the week.

When the displacement moved up to 3.7L it was dubbed the ML350. The name carried over with the introduction of the DOHC 3.5L. ML350 with 3.7L was available from 2003-2004 I believe.

Read all about it. This is how all the increased displacement kits are done. Or at least most
