Hi!:
Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll really enjoy your Crossfire. I'm a little sad right now because I store mine for the winter. This forum has more info then you will ever need but it's nice to know it's all pretty much here! After market stuff is a challenge for our cars but there are a few things you can do. Plus there are a whole bunch of ideas here on the forum.

Happy Trails!

GassGhost

Funny how when a GUY announces his newfound entrance to XF ownership and arrival at crossfireforum.org, the list of welcoming replies is so-so, but when it's a young and pretty lady, all of a sudden we're working our way into multiple greetings.

With that said.......

Welcome to the forum, Sexi!

I am getting a custom carbon fiber hood made if I decide to go with it. I found someone who will do it. So it should be nice! I hate that no one makes one really already! oh wel!!

SexiCross06, I have to hand it to you. You sound serious and know exactly what you want to do to mod your car. Unfortunately, there aren't a great many available over the counter mods for the XFire. Sometimes you have to roll your own as you are thinking with the hood. Is it your intent to have a hood similar in design to the OEM hood; maintaining the grooves in the hood?

I'm thinking you will be a very valuable addition to this board and not in the vein I imagined when I saw your first post. I'm impressed.

Well thank you. And yes with the CF hood i plan to keep just as a replica as the OEM hood.

There are some members who do carbon fiber applications.......not really a carbon fiber hood.....but if you are just going for "the look" then it's definitely worth looking into!

I'm pretty sure it's member "SRT SIX" who does this.
