'07 Coupe
Does anyone know if any of the '07 coupes had been shipped to the U.S.? I was just wondering because I had bought a new black base coupe that was advertised as an '07. It only had 9 miles on it. Is this a true '07 or an '08? Chyrsler says its a '07.

Second, check your VIN number. If you see an "08xxxxx" then you have an 08, if you have "07xxxxx" you an 07.
Third, I have an '07 coupe, so yes, they were shipped to the US.

Check the 10th VIN digit. Mine is a 5 for 2005. The one at the Detroit Auto Show was an 8 for 2008.
Note that the model year (10th VIN digit) does not mean it was built in that year. Check the sticker on the inside of the driver's door for the build date.

I saw a Consumers buyers guide that said they were not shipped to the U.S. for the 2006 or 2007 model years. Not just the internet is wrong about this detail. Try getting a price quote for a 2007 model on www.kbb.com. Too much misinformation floating about the media in this country about this beautiful car. Too bad it will not continue to be built and improved by Chrysler. I would like to have seen the overall performance increased in the LTD models. (i.e More WHP and better responce from the throttle across full movement and quicker shifting from the autostik while being used to shift manually.)
