Default New Crossfire

Hey Ya'll:
I found this forum by accident and everyone is so helpful. I have had my '04 coupe for 6 days. I have driven many cars in my life but never one that makes me grin the whole time I'm driving! This must be what very well to do people do when they drive benz's. I am just a state employee and I couldn't believe the price for the car. It only had 9,000 miles! I have washed 3 times already. We have had much rain... The only thing I am concerned about is repair costs. It doesn't have any factory warranty left. So I'm considering buying an extended warranty from Mercury insurance. Thanks to all y'all for bein' so nice on here. I am not savvy on how to use the forum yet but I will try to put pics on later.

So should I buy an extended warranty? When something goes wrong do you take it to Chrysler or Mercedes?

Yup, get a Chrysler Max Care Warranty & Get a quote from Todk64 :

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=18789

he has the best prices, over other Dealers.

Where are you & do you have Chrysler Dealers nearby?

Congrts and welcome to our forum. It happens to all of us, can't stop cleaning and waxing and then just sit back and admire the car.

Welcome, congrats, and me too (a low-mileage graphite '04 found its way into my garage week before last.) Definitely give the warranty serious consideration, parts/repairs for these cars are not cheap (I believe I read $4,500+ for the transmission, before labor!) Todd (mentioned above) has moved on to another dealership recently so if you have trouble contacting him (he hasn't responded to my PM from a week ago) you may try calling his old dealership (Tom Ahl Chrysler in Lima, OH I think) and dropping his name to get the Todd warranty price. Luckily, mine is certified and my dealer agreed to match the max care quotes Todd has posted here for similar vehicles.

Yep, best secret in my opinion on the used 'sporty' two seater market!

Hi Silver Fox!
I live near Lexington, Ky. I am considering buying from the auto warranty broker by American Mercury insurance. It is a 5yr/100,000 mile bumper to bumper for $1,700; no deductable. The Chrysler dealership here sells a warranty by Dimension. I had this company previously on my Ford truck. It was much work to get a repair.
Have you ever heard of the company? They are rated A+ A.M.

I would only Get the Chrysler Max Care 7/70 or 7/50 Warranty & I believe 90% or better on this Forum would back me up on that. (Forum???)
About many miles a year will you drive it?
When was it placed in Service(New)?(In Service Date)
Nothing but Chrysler at the Best Price, or you may be paying too much for too little!
My Best,
Bill (SF)
