Default Karmann Manufacturing Plant

Can't recall seeing these before, but these are some awesome pictures of the Karmann plant with the Crossfire production line.

Great find. Thank you for sharing.

Did you notice the one interior shot of the cedar (maybe red) and black interior? It differs from the cedar interior cars I have seen in that the dash, steering wheel and door panels don't have any cedar color.

And another, the VW Corrado. I had one of those. Fun car to drive. I've got some pics in my Gallery.

The photo could be digitally manipulated. If you look at photo 039 and 040 you'll see they are identical but one has a different color car. Even the workers are positioned exactly the same. Who knows, maybe they did the same type of thing with that picture.

Btw, this is my first post. Don't have a crossfire yet, but hope to change that in the near future! lol when I registered I answered the anti-spam question of "Who is the Crossfire manufactured by?" with "Karmann" and got it wrong...

I hope you find the Crossfire you like and they buy it. They are terrific cars.

Use the entire U.S. as your market area and you will find some great deals. And if you buy, you get to drive the car to your home as a bonus.

Thanks. Since I want to get a 2004 Coupe (Aren't they the most common Crossfires to find?) I think I'll be able to find some good deals when the time comes to buy.

All 2004 Crossfires were loaded Coupes. Not sure which years are most common. It is probably listed on the forum somewhere.

I have seen the Karmann website many times. After seeing again, I wish I could have toured the plant while they were manufacturing the xfire. Wouldn't that be cool!
