Irwin, dont laugh. I have stock on both mine and I just wash them with soap and water while washing the car. They come out very nice.

I usually wash with soap and water, and then about every month, I use stainless steel polish on the exhaust tips. They look absolutely brand new.

Re: Exhaust Pipes

One of the early posts on the forum talked about waxing the inside of the exhaust tip. Not only do I wash the inside of the tip as stated above, but whenever I wax the car I also wax inside the tip. Even when there is some carbon build-up, it comes right off the next washing.

Hmmm. Is there a hyphen in anal retentive? (Yes there is!)

Mine was dirty has hell when I got my XF then I took some polish and my dremel tool with the polishing attachment and it looks brand new!
