Default Prices? oil, filter etc

I called the local dealership knowing very well that the oil change was expensive, I also had them quote me on a fuel filter change and a air filter. They said the fuel filter will take 3 days to come in and for the whole job, oil change fuel filter and air filter it would be roughly $400. Sound right? $120 for oil $63 for ail filter, $120 for fuel filter annd then $89 to install fuel filter air etc.

That's a complete ripoff. $120 tops for an oil & filter change. Do the air filter yourself.

Fuel filters rarely need changed today as they are large debris volume and most outlast the car. It does take skill to do the job since they are high pressure(100psi) even when the car is not running.

Do the oil/filter change yourself if you can. It is easy.
Why do you need a new fuel filter?

As others have said, that is a waste of money. Oil filter and air filter change...yes. Fuel filter...no.

WHOW,thats steep even for Canada!EH. Sounds like the dealership is saying "we don't want to touch this red haired stepchild'. I have never been a DIY person when it come to cars, but to change oil and air filters on a Crossfire is a walk in the park.I recived a topsider system for christmas, it works great,I have used it on my Van and Maxima,as well as the Crossfire,.The guy next door has used it on several of his fleet and I am trying to get it back from my son in law (dont loan out tools). Mobil 1 is easy to find ,and the MB dealership here has our oil filters. If you change to K&N you probably will never need new air filters again! Fuel filters not sure on this one,

Don't bother with the fuel filter unless your fuel pressure is getting spotty and there's actually something stuck in it. Air filters and oil / filter are all really easy to change. If you are physically able, just do it yourself. Oil and filter will only be like $70. Oil filter unscrews and changes with hand tools from the top.
