Very clean and I love the white Crossfire!!.

SilverFox gets my vote for best photography. He really knows how to capture our cars on film (or is that digital bytes??)

I really enjoy the pictures in his gallery.

Hey Mike,

Your Alabaster AMX Dragon Photos really came out Fantastic against that Gorgeous Fall background!

You'll have to honor us again at the Meet this Fall with a return performance?

Car looks good lowered Mike. Make sure to reference this picture and keep it in mind when you are mounting your sidepipes, give yourself some clearance.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments.
I've been looking at the photos of November's Dragon's Tail GTG for the last 3 months and I couldn't figure out why my car looked so different than usual. Then finally I realized it was because nearly all the photos were taken while navigating the Dragon and the suspension was "compressed".
I'm not use to my car looking "hunkered down" and hugging the road like Fritzauf's car looks "ALL" the time.
The Fall colors are going to be hard to beat, but I'm sure the Mountains in the spring are beautiful too. I really wish Barb and I could join everybody in April but we made previous plans.
I just want to give anybody who hasn't tackled the Dragon before, fair warning. It's terribly addicting, so be prepared to get hooked.

It goes to show just how much "wallow" is in the stock suspension though. I hate that feeling when I'm setting up for turns, and it REALLY gets annoying when you add in weight transfer front to rear.

Opticon, when I think of a car that wallows, an old Lincoln Town Car comes to mind, certainly not any Crossfire. If a car doesn't have a certain amount of suspension travel, it usually rides like a skate board.
I spent a good part of the afternoon that day the above photo was taken following John (The Toy) and Bill (Silver Fox) over at least 50 miles of some of the best mountain roads I've ever been on, at some pretty high speeds I might add. So I'd like to hear what John has to say, (since I was in his rear view mirror most of the time).
Hey John, did you notice my car "wallowing"?

Mike,
I'm not sure about John but, he was a lot closer to you, than he was to me! So if he saw any "wallowing" it would have been yours, 'cause he almost Never got a Chance to see my Fox II, let alone a "wallowing" Fox II! Right John?

A Crossfire WALLOWING??? If your Crossfire wallows, I'd have IT"S suspension checked out. Bill was giving us a very very good pace to keep up with on that first section of our 110 mile loop with me right behind and Mike doing an outstanding driving job of keeping up with our two SRT's. If Mike's AMX had any wallow to it, I guarentee you he would never have been able to keep up. In those pics, that car is just settled down on it's suspension, like it's suppose to do.

Side pipes would be a perfect addition, the drag of the pipes would let you know how just how far you can let it settle, just like on a bike ...BTW wallow is used to describe longitudinal monvements of the body on its suspension, what you're seeing in the pic has nothing to do with wallow.
