Re: What the heck is this?
It’s a Crossfire that has been Photoshop'd to show how one might look with backseats. From what I have read there was never a prototype made of this car. For those who are interested, I do have some pictures in my gallery of a Crossfire-like four door prototype.

Also, are those MB wheels on the Startech? Very nice wheels.

The first photo on this thread is just a photo chopped Crossfire made to look like a four door. But in 2003 Chrysler was showing a four door hardtop concept with strong Crossfire design elements. Fast forward to 2007 and the new Sebring and.... yikes ! What happened ??? All the good ideas seem to have been sabotaged by clumsy "design-by-committee" execution...
poor proportions, chunky graceless door frames, seams and cut-lines running at all angles spoiling all sense of continuity...Wow ! What a mess !
Chrysler was earning a reputation for turning concept cars into real production vehicles but between the Jeep Compass and the Chrysler Sebring...looks like the "A" team has left the building !

My Crossfire has been called a damn Sebring three times this week! Why did they have to use the signature Crossfire hood?
Why Crossfire Gods?!

There's no telling how many times I thought a Crossfire was behind me from a distance, then only to notice a husband and wife with 3 kids in the back once it got closer. WTF. They spoiled our front end. Now I HAVE to get a grill... at least to make it look somewhat different.
