About to be a FORMER Crossfire owner...
Well, in about 45 minutes I'm going to drop my '04 Crossfire LTD off to its new (temporary) owners, the local Chrysler/Jeep dealer and pick up my new '08 Wrangler Rubicon.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who participates on this forum - it has been an amazing resource over the last 3.5 years of Crossfire ownership. I've been looking at various Jeep/Wrangler forums, and none of them match this one in terms of helpfulness, friendliness, and ease of use.
The Crossfire was a great car to me, I really loved it. In the end, it all came down to needing something that doesn't temp me to drive 100-130 mph at all times of day (yeah, there is a story) and hey... Wranglers are pretty awesome in their own right.
Thanks again and happy trails!

Good luck with your new wheels. Remember to wave when you see us. Stop in and let us know when you get another one. You know you will.
Well, we all move on to new and different things for many reasons. I would think the Forum Dudes and Dudettes may need to perform an "intervention" but it looks like we are to late. Good luck with the Jeep and please check in from time to time!
I just went to my local jeep dealer and looked at an 08 Wrangler Sahara. I am really thinking about getting one. I am going to keep my Crossfire, and replace my 05 Murano that is coming off lease. Good Luck with your new ride.
This is interesting as we got rid of a Jeep for the Crossfire. Seeing as it's basically a two person vehicle anyway we wanted something with longer legs as we luv to drive distance for the fun of it. Good choice, but you are gonna miss your car. See you on the other side and don't forget to wave.
The way I see it.........you are basically trading a lot of "on pavement" fun for a lot of "off pavement" fun!
I have the feeling you're going to find the jeep a little rough around the edges on a daily basis.....not to mention the loss of attention when going down the road.
I'm sure you'll have fun either way though.............enjoy the new ride!
