dont do it... flames are so tacky. I want to do my car up like an old bomber plane, flat green with the big teeth on the side. (edited) Oh that kind of flame kit...

Flames and flame kits (out the pipes) should be left to '50 Mercs, '40 Fords, and other classic hotrods. Tacky and cheezy on a supposed luxury sports car.

I saw a Lexus SC430 (the fairly large two seaters with the retractrable hard top) that had flames on the doors. Almost wrecked my own car I was laughing so hard.
Flames work on on a '32 Deuce - but I still prefer even those without them - and old Merc hot rods as cgocifer pointed out. That's about it though.

If you have to ghost flame it. I agree with the guys above that flames belong on hot rods. When I had my Pt and GT Cruisers I noticed a lot of people put flames on them and never understood that. Its a 4 cyl. even with the Turbo. And then they started using those stick on/magnetic flames. Thats about as tacky as can be. Just my humble opinion.

My SRT-4 would shoot flames when I had my Needswings cutout open and I would WOT shift 
You could look at the cars next to you and see the 2-3 foot flame underneat your car shoot out like a firework.
Not recommended since Neons have plastic gas tanks hahaha

If you go with the flames, you need to also get a set of those cow nuts to hang on the back. Maybe Andrew or Dan could create a Mercedes star to fit onto the nuts.
