Chrysler Blows. I'm Done with this Car!
I am so damn sick of this car. I love this thing to death, but mine is a piece of ****, the chrysler service center are absolutely horrendous. I have had more problems with this vehicle then any other car I have ever owned, even my ford escort. I feel like a SOB everytime I take my car in for warranty work because they make me feel like I am scamming them. I have had my car in a total of about 4 months last year, two of those months were consecutive, 60 days in a row. I'm getting rid of it, just wanted to vent.
What kind of problems? This forum can be your friend and help.

President Crossfire, as one of the cabinet members I must urge you to reconsider resigning. These are trying times for all of us and sure our futures don’t look so bright as we reach warranty age. Ultimately, the decision is yours President Crossfire and I wish you the best in future endeavors. There will always be a Vice President Crossfire waiting for you

Stories like this really bother me because I too absolutely LOVE this car, it just might be my favorite car of all time. But if my car was having problems (big or small) that caused it to be in the shop for a couple of months because the dealer was unable to fix it in a timely manner, I'd probably feel the same way as Rakoom.
My car's 3 year warranty will expire in about a week, and like MAYAman pointed out, my car has been nearly problem free also. A vacuum leak
keeping the hatch from locking is the only repair I've needed.
My biggest problem would be coming up with a different car to replace my Crossfire. There is simply no other car out there that could fill the void if I had to sell my Baby.
You should change your dealer instead of slamming the car. I've had 3 crossfires and never had a problem. When I did have a problem the dealer fixed it while i waited. Only the foggy headlights and an am module were the only problems i've had. Sounds like you'll never be happy with that dealer, so change it up.
I just moved to Portland and bought a Crossfire 2 days ago. Who's your dealer so I can stay away. Hopefully it's not the people I just bought mine from...Doh!!!

I don't know if I could be that forgiving. "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".
But as much as I love this car, I'd probably give it another try.

Any way, search for my forum I started that lists dealers to stay away from.
There's no way it's junk its a Mercedes lol. I know how you feel, I've had more problems with this car in 15,000 miles than our 2000 Neon that has 140,000 miles on it now.
Hope I'm not jinxing myself, but I've only one problem that was taken care of the same day. The leaking transmission TSB. I also think the dealer you are going to has a lot to do with it.
I have had all kind of issues and even had the engine replaced, I guess the car now knows I am in it for a long haul, and just started today with another member, buying his coupe for my son
Maybe I'm imagining things but do I notice a trend where most owners who have had several problems with their car, enough to cause them to complain loudly about it, own 2004 model year vehicles? Anyone else make this observation?
