Unhappy Help!

My Crossfire gas lid once close.

I don't know what to do!

I look at it and tried to close it but I won't close.

Some metal rod plastic piece is blocking it from closing.

How can I go about fixing this issue?

that rod usually only engages when the car is locked or u are driving, try to unlock it also see if the plastic part that keeps the cap from falling is keeping the door from closing this happened on mine all I did was move the plastic piece around and it did the trick

The tether on the cap will get twisted once in a while and get in the road of the lid closing. I got really frustrated one time trying to figure out why mine wouldn't close lol.

Either that or your pneumatic line broke. Hopefully you tried to shut it while your doors were locked. The cap door will NOT shut if your doors are locked.
Don't feel bad if that's what you did, I've done it a few times. First fill up I could figure out how to open it because I always locked my car before I filled up. Read the manual? DUH!
