Check in the tire section. You might want to repost there. I can't help I traded my first one before it needed tires and this one has 2100 miles.

Without question, Goodyear's Eagle F1's or All Season F1's. Both have excellent traction, handling and wear. The tread patterns are awesome too.

Default Stock Continental's

What is wrong with the stock Continental's- All Season tires? They have excellent ratings.

Just a question.

The Conti's are good. But the F1's are better and better looking.

Are the F1's directional? If so I have a stupid question since I have never owned directional tires.....

Since the Xfire has different size wheels front and back-

How do you rotate directional tires?

Thanks

Yes they are directional. I haven't rotated mine yet but I've just assumed they would be rotated side-to-side and remounted the tires to rims.

That is what I was concerned about, having to pull the tire off each time you rotated,,,

With the stock Conti's they aren't directional so you can just pull the wheel and tire and rotate side to side.

I would think when someone is considering a new tire that directional tires should be a consideration- as to the rotation of the tires.

Directional tires are good from my understanding if you are going to be driving High Speed a Lot.

Thanks

Directional tires should only be rotated from front to back on the same side of the car. Since you have 18's on the front and 19's on the rear, you should not rotate your tires at all if they are directional.

P.S. The Conti Sport Contac 2 tires are great!

I did not know that you could get by without rotating! Wow, thanks for the advice.

I believe that the stock Contis are non-directional, therefore you can rotate them side to side.

All rotation of the tires gives you is more even wear of the tires and longer tire life. If you can not rotate they won't last quite as long.

Eagle F1 A/S here........couldn't be happier!

They go through puddles like they are not even there, snow that is so deep I push it with the front bumper, and take "cloverleaf" expressway offramps at 60+!

A touch on the expensive side........but my baby deserves the best!

I have a 2004 Red Crossfire Coupe, bought new and have put 63,000 delightful miles on the car. I currently have Eagle F1's that I totally enjoy for their handling ability, but they are very noisy on most road beds. I had the last wheel alignment from the Goodyear dealer and I want to ask if misalignment could be the problem?
