Default I have had my Car just over a month now.

I need some help, how do you keep all the Ricers in the area from trying to race you? After 6 weeks of ownership I'm tired of having someone rev their 4 cylinder 110 BHP engine with a 3 Inch exaust and spoiler bolted on their trunk. Is it cause we are so rare a find that they seem to wait at every AM/PM parking lot and when you are first at the light, pounce to get next to you? Today was no exception, a yellow Honda pulled up and reved his engine and kept looking over. Normally I just let them have their fun, but enough was enough, the race was on. To feel like I was in race mode...you guessed it, the Spoiler went up, both hands gripped the wheel. And we went at it. I didnt even turn off TC, I just punched it...after the dust settled, I could have read a chapter in a novel while I waited at the next light for him to catch up. He didnt want to go another block.

On a Different Note, I found a cure for the Perma Grin. Just look at the Cup Holder. And I get and impression of what the Hell is THAT?!? I learned Crossfire Cupholders and Cheap Styrofoam Cups Don't Mix...as the cupholder cut into the cup and caused a small leak, DOH.

If you leave enough of them in the dust sooner or later they will learn to leave you alone.
The cup holder isn't really made for cups!! Them silly germans.

Let's take this point by point, starting with the cupholder, shall we?
All styrofoam cups should be placed in the crotch not in the cupholder, especially if it's hot coffee. If the cup holder were large enough it could probably hold a 55 gallon drum with no problem but soft squishy styrofoam: not a chance. Besides, if you do have to zip along with any ricers & the hot coffee spills then you can sue whoever you purchased the coffee from just like that little old lady did years ago to McDonalds! See, instant wealth!
Second, you own a Crossfire, an excellent example of fine German engineering combined with an attention-grabbing look. Anyone who owns any kind of zippy Japanese automobile will want to prove a point........it's just that they usually can't (watch out for those Subaru STi's though, they will toast your keister!) so you can expect this kind of rude behavior everywhere you go (except up here in Sticksville. Here any tuber with a truck will try to race you, always good for plenty laughs.).
Finally, it's never a good idea to read whilst driving; it's much more fun to stare at centerfolds carefully placed in strategic positions on your dash. Please contact one of our members who specializes in these sort of things, FP. Be forewarned, he has a 'thing' for brunettes.

Drive at the speed limit or slower. If there is a ricer who wants to race, get behind them.

Also, find an attractive woman to sit in the passenger side seat. Then drive even more slowly.

The only thing that I have I come close to for racing if you want to call it that is when I took a drive last weekend. This newer Mustang Shelby was following me for a bit. We pass this car going up a hill and of course he really steps on it, which I wasn't expecting, and did beat me up this little hill (not by a whole lot), but I think he was surprised that I was able to keep up and wasn't a dot on his rear view mirror.

I love this little car!

yeah mcdonalds sweet tea cups are a no no in the cup holder as well haha.
and the civics are the best at lights. i have surprisingly had alot of cars try and race me.
mostly kids but a couple fathers also. the day i got my crossfire i was bricing home and a dad with his son pulled up beside me in his BMW 535i. i was thinking o ok haha butttttt then i heard the turbo... we both took off and i kept with him till about 90 then he pulled. we came to the next light and come to find out he custom built it and made it a twin turbo. rediculous haha. also toyota MR2 turbos all think they can race the world. and every one of them gets demolished. and kurts. every single thing u said was true and was funny haha. its truth probably made it even funnyer.

Well, here is a theory. Most of the ricers think the Crossfire is an easy target because they think they are slow based on the mediocre horse power. They don't really take into consideration that the car is light. What I think is funny is when one of these tuners finds themselves next to a SRT-6! Not many people have ever heard of one, nor do they know how brutally fast they are. Let's just say that one particular 911 Cabrio S owner will think twice next time he sees a Crossfire with a funny whale tale.

Actually, I think the wing going up antagonizes the "ricers" the very same way a Matadors cape gets a bulls attention.
That's why I installed a manual switch to activate my wing, that way I can keep it down and sort of fly under the "Ricer Radar". (Even at speeds over 65 mph.)
Believe it or not, but I did notice a distinct drop in "Asian" Encounters.

just don't try that against a mazda speed six unless you're in a srt6.
