I contacted Ebay seller Sportztrailers the other day about K&N filters for my 06' Crossfire. They've got a TON of K&N stuff listed and usually have the Crossfire filters listed in pairs pretty reasonable but I haven't seen them put any up for a while. I emailed them asking if they were going to list some any time soon, and one of the sales guys sent me an email and told me to call him. He basically said that K&N is pretty much forcing all the dealers to raise their prices and all be the same so they haven't listed any on Ebay.

He gave me a deal on two (2) of the part# 33-2290 K&N Filters for the Crossfire Limited/Base for $64 shipped to my door. I told him that I was a member here and he said that if anyone here wanted the same deal to give him a shout. I told him I would pass the info to you along with his contact info.

Just an FYI.. I'm not associated with them in any way, but the guy seemed really cool and worked with me on a deal. They wanted $70 shipped at first, but I told him I had found them another place (see this thread where the guy needed only one filter https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=24226) for $64 to my door and he matched it.

He said I should have mine no later than Wednesday of next week... Can't wait to get them. Local auto parts place wanted to charge me $38 for two paper filters.

Yeah, I'm going to go with the regular filters to start... Possibly a CAI later.

BTW, I remember reading that thread where you were documenting the paint work on the car. Very cool, love the painjob on it. One of the very few aftermarket jobs I've seen where adding paint made the car look better.

I've seen a few around here that were/are absolutely horrible IMHO.
