Crossfire Use Poll
So, this may not going anywhere, but I searched an couldn't find a poll yet. Plus, I'm really kind of curious how everyone uses their Crossfire. If this has already been done, feel free to delete this.
This is simply out of curiosity.

I use mine every chance I get. If it's raining, I try not to use it. In the winter, if the roads are dry and it's a nice day, she comes out of the garage. Spring and fall are my favorite times of year, as summer approaches, she's on the road travelling the car show circuit. Because of this, I have sold more Crossfires than many dealers. I make it a point to talk to anyone that seems interested in the car. Two people that I spoke to bought the alabaster, one with the same interior as mine.

I voted everyday vehicle.
Although it is everyday until it snows in Chicago.
Then it's only driven when the roads are frozen and dry or when it's all melted away and dry.

if i had to clarify it...i'd say i don't drive the SRT if it's gonna rain, i may drive it to work once a week but not when i work nights, and never in the winter.
another way to look at it...my Wrangler is my daily driver, my J20 is the parts hauler, and the SRT is the *** hauler.

I can't just vote for one thing in the poll, so I didn't vote. I use my XFire any chance I get. It's fun to drive and it's my economy car. Top is down if the sun is out. I do drive it in the rain if necessary. By that I mean I would use it if there was a chance of rain and if it rains, so be it. The car is not biodegradable. It won't melt. I bought it to enjoy it as much as possible, and not just to drive it in nice weather.

Nice weather/hobby car. Keeping the milage low, not because I think it will be valuable, but because I enjoy keeping low milage cars. Just something I've always done. Plus, I hate washing and waxing all the time. :-) I just sold my daily driver, so my new daily driver will be the DC Metro train.
I travel overseas a lot (75-80%) working on a drillship so my wife will alternate driving this and our Mega Cab depending on weather/mood and then I'll drive it in to the office when I am home. We haven't had it long and the more I think about it the closer I'm coming to getting a 4th car for commuting and just save this for weekends. I've never become attached to a car like we have this one.
It's my daily driver and I enjoy every minute of it. If I had a garage and more than one vehicle I think I would feel cheated if I drove a beater around while the SRT-6 sits!
I may have made somewhat of a bad poll. I really meant to allow the whole "choose more than one" option.
I was kinda curious if a lot of other people use the Crossfire as an everyday vehicle.
It's my only car, so it pretty much must be my everyday auto.

I use mine all the time, any time, for any reason and in any weather.
I must be a real duffus driver but I haven't had any issues with the rain or snow. Even when we had a 10.0" fall here. In St Louis we get everything.
I will likely regret it in 10 or 15 years, when this rode hard and put away wet approach ruins the car, but I will be a happy guy.
Hopefully, one of you folks will have salted one away for later, only to have your estate sell it to me. LOL

I've had several "collector" cars and once tried to just keep the car for car shows. So once a year I had a great time getting the car ready and standing there while everyone went "Ooooh!" and "Ahhhh!" and then driving home and putting it away. I finally decided that was a waste for me. What's the point? The car was meant to be driven. Sure, it's going to depreciate if used, but what's money anyway?
I've had lot's more fun driving the cars than I ever had once or twice a year at the car show. Pretty much every day is a car show these days...
