Default scraping undercarriage of crossfire

was going thru an intersection under construction on an uneven rough patch at about 40 mph and scraped the drivers side undercarriage along the seam where the body meets the frame, and left an 8 inch scrape on the edge of the body seam, has anyone else had any problems bottoming out and scraping?

Has your car been lowered?

I drive daily on some really crappy streets in Brooklyn and have never had that problem although there are some raised manhole covers that I'm sure would do quite a bit of damage if I hit one.

I launched mine over a traffic island and didn't bottom out. The guy following me told me nothing was touching the ground. I did have to re-align the front end though...
