Chroming Rear Wing?
Was thinking about croming the rear wing. Having a crap load of items send in for electroplating and was thinking about doing the rear wing.
Am thinking it may look either a) extremely cool. or b) extremely bizarre.
Wanted to know if anyone had done this.

i may have to source a second hand wing to try it separatly, hence not destroy the orginal. anyone have a spare wing
. not a lot of wrecked chryslers xfires in oz.
still dubious. think it might be okay.

Also due to the angle of the wing when raised, can you imagine the lovely (NOT!) reflection you will get in the cab area when the sun is shining.
Now how about carbon fibre................Hmmmmmmmm..........

Guess I'm going to go out on a "wing" here and state that I think it has real possibilities of looking good. It depends on the color of your car and how much chrome is on it. IMHO, you would have to have lots of other chrome parts so that the chrome wing doesn't stand out on it's own. Chrome trim around the front windshield, chrome mirrors, chrome door handles and bright steel wheels.
