Just sent a nice little message!

 

Got two badges and two decals in the mail yesterday - June 11. Didn't get all the tie-tacks and other goodies, but I didn't ask for the whole boat, just badges for the car. So, less than ten days, Germany to California - not bad service, for a freebee!

 

I followed Valkerguys instructions and received Karmann stickers and badges in less than a month!

I dont know what to do with the badges...I already have made by mercedes badges on the exterior. I don't want to junk it up....Any suggestions other than mail them to you?

 

Just to share where I put mine - although I saw some being put on the outside in front of the rear tire on the quarter panel I decided I didn't really want to alter the 'stock' look - I put them on the inside doors between the door handle and the speaker...they look okay and maybe good - it's hard to get used to the blue and red along with the charcoal interior but I've had them on for a week and they aren't bothering me too much there...

What exactly are these "stickers" and "badges"? I see photo of "Karmann" sticker on one of the owner's rear side windows. If that's the sticker, what is the "badge"? THanks.

I think it's dead. I filled everything out a few months ago praising the craftsmanship of the car and have yet to receive anything. If someone has the inside scoop, I would greatly appreciate the help as those belong on the car.

 

I agree, rcompart I haven't had a response either. Anyone got an extra Karmann logo I can place under my wing?

 

It has been almost a month and havent gotten anything. I guess its a no go, who knows maybe someday they will just magically show up!

 

Me neither. No response, no nothing. I guess they saw a trend and decided to unplug it.

 

They might be a bit focused on more important matters....

The article is a few months old, but I think I remember reading that things had not changed for them.
