Make your hood open 90°? New different gas support?

There's a button in back of gas support, push it in and push up on the hood.

I showed this to the Crossfire tech at my dealer. He uses it everytime I go in for routine maintenance.

The pisser is that this feature doesn't appear to be in the owner's manual either. Consider it an undocumented feature.

I too learned of it from this very forum at the time I purchaced my Crossfire. All cars should have it.

It's even more amazing that if you drive the Crossfire with the hood in the 90 degree position at the advertised 150 MPH, the hood will go all the way to 180 degrees.

A word of warning. If you ever break down on a two lane highway (with a 55 mph speed limit), you may not want to use this feature.
All it would take is one fast movin "semi" (going in the opposit direction) to catch your sail and pull it right over on top of the roof.

Wow.....all this over a hood.

Just wait till you 6-speed guys figure out you can shift without the cruise control turning off!

Something new to try on the drive home from work. The cruise control thing, not the "driving with the hood at 90 degrees" thing (although it is supposed to be 90 degrees here today).

Once you train yourself that the Cruise control lever isn't the turn signal.
