Thought i would post a picture of my car!

Man i wish we had a photography section on the forums! That to me would be an ideal place to put photos! What do you guys think? A place to practice photography, also maybe some tips and tricks? Just throwing things out there.
BTW; there is a crossfire that is lowered and black tint just like mine some where here is washington, i saw it today coming off of I-5 exit 142.
What do you guys think of the picture? First time using my nikon d60 camera.
I have 5% window tint
Lamin-x headlight/ foglight/ corner light (smoked)
I also lowered the rear, looking to lower the fron this coming weekend.
Looks nice and clean ... I tinted my windshield also.
GDrag,
Nice car, enjoy it...Have you noticed the little secion on the upper right of the posts that lists "user gallery" ?
Post all the pics you want to your gallery, then look around at some of the others. There are some awesome photos there.

Nice car but bad photo. Sorry. Why is it so blurry? Did you use a bunch of diffuse glow in PS? Should have bought a Canon.
lol yeaa it's a little blurred out in photoshop.
I have a bad habbit of not leaving photos the way the are. I can post the pictures it took with out photoshop. Really crisp pictures!
Thanks for comments! Looking forward to doing some performance mods next!

Just create a thread with your user name and make an ongoing thread with photos of your car. That is what I did in the srt6 section here. I also did a video thread as well.

photoshop is a lot of fun to play with, what version do you run? I have both 7 and CS2, each has features I like.
that filter you used looks nice in the pic.

I have CS3.
I love photoshop, i've been messing around with it since i was 15 years old.
The process i did with this picture is:
Duplicate original picture
Gaussian Blurr duplicated image
On that layer go to layer options and choose which ever one you like.
(left of the opacity and fill)
thats it!

I'm a Nikon guy. I haven't tried the D60 yet, but I'm sure its a fantastic camera.
I'm not a fan of MASSIVE amounts of post processing. It gets to a point where it detracts from the photo.
Less is more.

just wanted to say that i got my xfire last sunday and it is the best car i have ever had! you car looks really great! the tint looks awesome! i am going to put pictures of my car on here as well but i havnt got to that yet. its white and im thinking about getting mirror tint for it what do you think? thanks
That's a nice looking ride. 5% tint on the sides, huh? Man, PA cops (around here at least) would be all over that. I'm going to go with a much lighter tint, maybe 60% and hope I can get away with it. That smoke on the headlights looks good to.
I work with Photoshop on almost a daily basis. I'm on CS3. I like the slight blur in that pic. Gives it a dreamlike quality.

Nice picture.
As a sidenote......be careful putting anything over your headlights. They tend to run hot, hold in the heat, and eventually cause cracks in the housing/front lens.
