Yeah Illegal that was you.... I spent like an hour trying to figure out/remember who had the SRT6's in Houston...hahaha. Unfortunately, I have in very short notice now moved to Chicago. At least VALK, FP, and others are up here for me to ogle at their cars til mine gets shipped up here (tentative arrival date 8/7, i can't wait). Until it gets up here I'm rockin the G8GT...I mean seriously why in the world should any rental car company have that as a standard full size rental... hahaha. Not bad, but uber bad on gas mileage hahaha. Anywho, it will be at least a year til I get back to H-town maybe longer. Ugh.

I have to say with the window down, your engine sounded great when you hit it. Especially when we were already going 70. Haha, I'll see you guys around H-town. Its my home, can't get it out of my blood. Peace up, H-town down.

 

My 285's are Eagle F1 supercars. Poor tread life. Not impressed with the traction.

Aww, sorry to hear you had to move. There is a REALLY good C32 core up there, also. The other half of LET is in Chicago.

They get together quite a bit. Make sure you check out MBWorld from time to time in the C32 section.

For right now he is in Woodridge and planning to join us on Sunday at the meet w/o the Crossfire which is still in transit from Texas

 

Thanks for givin them the heads up while i neglected to check the forum. Shame on me. I actually work in the Oak Brook area, as for living...well, I just don't know yet. I plan on spending most of saturday out and about looking at apartments. Then sunday come meet you guys for a bit, though probably won't make the 60+mile cruise because: a)i'm not in my crossfire (G8) and b) the G8 puts down gas like an irishman does whiskey. Its a bit ridiculous. Though it is partially my fault because the G8 has a great engine sound (it's not a G8 GT like I originally thought) at full throttle. I've actually gotten a few looks in it, surprisingly. Oh, and I had a CTS "race" me. I use the term "race" loosely because I was just in a hurry, but he apparently thought it was a race. Dumb. I'll see you guys on Sunday, and as for the H-town guys. I'll see you over Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. Gonna go back to visit the parents seeing as I have no significant other/family of my own. Peace up, H-town down.
