Hello from a new member

Hello everyone, figured I would take the time to introduce myself.

I am not an owner of a Crossfire, but am have been considering changing that. It is a car that has intrigued me for a while and I was driving around earlier this week and saw one at a dealership and decided to take it for a test drive, it was a blast to drive and added to my interest in possibly buying one. Have been looking at ebay since there are no local dealers who have one that I would want as the one I test drove was a fun drive but I would rather not buy a car with 80k already on it.

Hope to be a valuable member of the community and add what I can, and at the same time get as much information I can.

Welcome. There are still some low mileage ones out there. Hopefully you will get one soon.

I don't think that you'll regret buying one. Are you looking for a coupe or roadster?

Coupe for me, convertibles are nice when the top is down, but I am just not a fan of the look of ragtops when they are up, so gotta be a coupe.

The answer is only to drive when the top can be down...which is what I do...just can't drive everyday, but that's okay for me...thanks...

I know what the EPA ratings and window sticker ratings show, but I am wondering what kind of MPG that you guys are actually getting.

Nevermind: Did a search and found a pretty good thread about MPG.

Take it from me (a new owner also) - keep looking because it will DEFINATELY be worth it!

I spent 2 months looking...drove to Topeka, KS (5 hrs), Springfield, MO (4 hrs), every dealer in Oklahoma City and the surrounding area, before I found my '06 in Bonham, TX (3 hrs) with 18k miles.

It was one of the best investments of my time ever! I drive it everywhere and have put on nearly 2000 miles in 5 weeks. I still smile when I think about driving it. It is by far the most enjoyable car I have ever driven.

Dave,
Sarah found ours on auto trader.com. We flew to NC and drove it back. Just make sure you have any dealer send you a carfax report before going very far for one. Good luck!!!
