Default New XF owner

Hi all,

Got my XF yesterday :P, cant wipe the grin off my face. It's an 04 aero blue coupe with 16k (miles). I dont see many on the road so love the attention its already had. On my first drive back home to guildford (UK) was tailing my mate who had the sat nav and got buzzed by a red coupe XF. Such a lovely noise. I know that its mostly american owners on here but you UK guys I'd appreciate any links to parts sites and the like.

Cheers,

Jamie

After reading the title I thought you purchased the new Jaguar XF..............I'm glad to see that wasn't the case.

Thanks for the friendly welcome, mika33 its the 6 speed manual, found the car on my first day of looking as well was an easy decision for what I paid.

Congrats on the Crossfire and welcome to the forum. This site and everyone here has a wealth of knowledge on these vehicles. You definitely chose the best color too.

Yeah RHD, and in mint condition bar a little scrape under the rear bumper that you can't see unless your on your hands and knees. I've waxed that over until I get round to having it sprayed. Oh and the ame with the chips on the inside of the boot lid where its been closed too hard a few times.

An expensive experience, unfortunatly, petrol is now about $11 a gallon over here... but I have a sneaky suspicion it'll be worth it

yeah bad isnt it, did that one at 4.54Ltrs per gallon , just remembered that you guys can't measure properly :P (cue flaming ) so its 3.7ish so the price is a little lower but still! and thats with an exchange rate of $2 to £1. We're paying £1.20 a litre (and thats the cheap 95octain stuff not the 97) its gone up from about £0.80 in 3-4 years. Bring on more blockades from our truckers on the fuel depots, thats one thing we can all learn from the french they've got that down. If that doesn't happen they'll all go out of business and the economy will be screwed, either way something has to give.

Sorry for that vent and if anyone wants to airmail me a few gallons of gas (dont mind if its US or UK :P) feel free.
