I've owned the car for 3 weeks now and have yet to see another Crossfire. Maybe I have the only one ever sold.

Next time you wave, use all of your fingers not just one. It took me a while to figure this out. The one finger waves are for the Solstice and TT drivers.

last week i went through Detroit to Canada. when i reached my destination i saw one Crossfire parked on the street, with another one waiting at the red light across from me in my SRT. other than that, didn't notice any all the way from Cleveland up.

i did see one the other day close to home. it was sitting on the side of the freeway, broken down maybe? DUI maybe? i dunno.

 

Was it red? I saw one on Wednesday, parked along the highway. It looked as though the wheels had never been cleaned since day one.

 

it was that burgundy-looking color. this was in Lake County. didn't notice the wheels, i was heading the other direction.

 

I was heading south towards rt.44, was this just down the road from Headlands Beach area, not too far from rt. 283?

 

too funny, northbound 44 is where i saw it. i think i was on the way home from work. i thought it was closer to Rt. 84 though, like just before the exit ramp to 84.

 

Mr. F were you in your Crossfire? I was in my Honda.

 

worked Wednesday through today and didn't drive the car all week. i was probably in my Wrangler.

 

I live in Orange County in CA. an I have only seen about 5 in the last year. Now I know there has to be many of them here, but where are they????

 

Like Jay said, it's nice being one of kind, most of the time. But there must be at least 70,000 of them out there, and still they're seldom seen. (except in Michigan).

 

My brother-in-law works for Chrysler so I got one of those employee give a way deals thru him back in 05'.

 

my dad's a Chrysler retiree and got two that way. the second one (convertible) went back a month ago. we bought the SRT after it's year lease was up.

 

I have a good friend who is a Designer at Chrysler, and he called me several times to let me know about an Aero Blue SRT6 a fellow employee was leasing. He said the guy never abused it and he was getting ready to turn it in, and I could get a real deal on it. He just couldn't understand why I didn't want an SRT6. Even though he knows I'm perfectly happy with my 04.
I know there's going to come a day I'm going to kick myself for not picking one of these up for a "steal" when I had the chance, but it's just not in the cards for me at the time.

 

I hear ya. I'm itching to pick up a second one at these prices. But it's just not in the checkbook at this time.

Yeh, I live in Harrod, Ohio (just east of Lima) and I am starting to see a few around town. When I got mine last year, it was the only one around. It is nice to finally get to wave at a couple.

 

I've had my 05 black Crossfire for about 4 weeks now. I've noticed over the years that I become more aware of specific cars on the road once I have one of my own. I never really noticed XF's in this area, but since I'm driving one, I've come across quite a few. There was one identical to mine parked in the restaurant parking lot 2 blocks from my home last weekend. Mine's a coupe and a local dealer just got in a black 05 roadster. I've passed a couple running around town. I like the exclusivity - I usually buy cars that aren't often seen on the road - but it is nice to see others with the same passion.
