Default new xf owner

just bought an 05 red limited coupe 6-speed with 15500 miles. i have a couple of questions. is there a way to enable the blinkers with a "change lane" feature. also are there any aftermarket shift ***** available. it feels like i could crush the plastic one in my hand. thanks for any help

Congrats on the new car. The **** is not plastic. It's metal, but you can do a search on ***** and you will see what some of us have done. Also, ebay has a bunch of Mercedes Benz ***** that fit our cars if you want to go that route.

Are you talking about the lighted side mirror blinkers? If so, do a search. That after market kit is available.

Actually, the lighted side mirrors are a dealer item. LALOGGIA has them on his XF. They look great.

not what i am refering to. i am talking about having the signal blink two or three times when you just nudge it. i was wondering if this is something the dealer can activate. i know my 01 ml320 does it and that my 05 dodge ram can have it turned on with the starscan. so i was wondering if the xf can do it also

I've driven VW's with that feature-I like it.

Welcome to the forum. That turn signal feature has not been found yet that I know of.

My 2007 Chrysler Sebring also has the turn signal feature.
