Rotex is awesome!!
So just slapped A new set of pads for x fire. I must say I am extremely impressed with the way the rims look after driving a few days and a total of 300 miles. WoW My wheels are Still silver a miracle. These pads will pay themself off considering I was going to the quarter carwash once or twice a week spending 10 to 20 bucks a week. I know This has been said a million times but I just wanted to say thanks for the great posts on this forum because I never would of changed them If I did not come here. I am now saving up for a sprint booster as another great mod I read on here. Thanks again
I found this review online of the Rotex Golds. Pretty good review of the pads.
Edit: Might help if I add the link.

I've put them on my '04 coupe and my wife's Cadillac. Very pleased; virtully no brake dust.
Now, my dilemma: I can't find them for my '04 Dodge HemiSport. Brakeworld no longer carries them.
Any ideas?????

I ran 22 quarter mile 100 mph runs in the same day and found very little brake dust on my wheels afterwards.........
"Rotex claims a virtually dust-free brake pad.
Our test didn’t bear this out.
The OEM pads produced a thicker, darker dust covering versus the Rotex pads’ lighter, thinner grey covering.
But the amount of brake dust generated by the Rotex pads during regular
(if strenuous) driving was still significant".
I have a question about these Rotex Brake Pads.
1. Soft brake pads leave dust on the wheels
2. Harder brake pads (Rotex) last longer, and no dust.
But if you drive the usual way once the Rotex are installed are the Rotor's going to wear out faster?
Do they cause more damage to the rotors?
So I guess what I am asking an mean, being that the Rotex are a harder brake pad, do they wear out your rotors faster?
Thanks!
