Last night was my first trip to the drag strip (EVER). I have to say it was a blast. I took my 04 N/A crossfire coupe with no mods at all... had a blast..best time was on run #2 at 15.396 for the Qt at 91.50 mph the rest were in the same area...Now I need to figure out how to make it go faster. I enclosed the slip for runs 1 & 2..

 

you just made the bigest mistake of your life,,, i went to a drag strip when i was 16, and now have owned over 450 cars in my life and every one of them have been to the strip it is a sickness and it will never leave you ,, i am now 65 and the only reason i didn't go to the dragstrip last night was beacuse as i was getting ready to go ,i called and they were rained out,, enjoy your new life i mean ENJOY it,,, i do and never regeted it. jim

 

glad u had fun , not bad for a stock car

plan to spend plenty of time reading the forum
several members had made changes to their car
not sure how far the n/a crossfire can be tuned / modded.

auto or stick?

 

Sorry in my excitement I forgot to say my car is an automatic.. Thanks for the posts. If anyone knows some good threads with info on n/a crossfire mods let me know. I have done some searching and found a few but they seem to always turn to the limited of srt models
