Default To all ye Dragon slayers...

Next time you are in the vicinity of the Dragon, check out 'The Snake', US421.
I went through on the motorcycle on Saturday - I prefer it to the Dragon on the 2 wheeler - the curves are more sweeping and faster. NO police, trucks or cars.

If you go to the website there's a map on the right hand side.
Basically, find Bristol in Tennessee (south east corner), then go south east from that just over the border into North Carolina.

There's some good info on the sight - gives you some facts etc about the road etc, etc. Click on the 'roads' link on the left side to see what others are mentioned around there.

white04, I vacationed on Norris Lake for several yrs when I had my Mastercraft and Malibu...we stay at 33 Bridge Marina...that area is beautiful...we went to the Bristol race...when we were down w/ some of the guys from Mastercraft...now that I am aging and don't ski anymore, I love the car thing again...and look forward to getting back down to that corner of the world...I have many old friends left behind in Knoxville I hope to see on our trip to the dragon...and I did own a sport bike then, but my old Fatboy, including this old fatboy, don't lean nearly as much as the sport bike did...thanks for the memories...
